Pip’s Palace Dog Grooming prides itself in putting your dog’s needs first to make the grooming experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
Our Story
Working from a home based salon in Medway, we work 1-2-1 with your dog so not to rush the process. Our salon is fully climate controlled for your dog’s comfort and all products used are SLS / paraben free , vegan and cruelty free , to be gentle on your dog’s coat. With over 13 years combined experience , our team offers a personalised experience for all your dog’s needs in a safe and stress-free environment.

Love is a four-legged word
Since I was little I’ve always been involved with animals, from horse riding to spending summers on farms in Wales and have always had family dogs. I became a dog groomer after my first Cocker Spaniel, Pipkin, disliked being handled at the dog groomers. After that I decided to take over his grooming experience. I then became a City and Guilds Level 3 Qualified Dog Stylist with my advanced Diploma in hand stripping. Shortly after I opened my business and never looked back, I’ve been grooming now for 10 years . Dogs are my absolute passion, I have CPD diplomas in dog nutrition and Pet First Aid have worked with dog clubs training dogs for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards Scheme and have experience grooming some of clients dogs for shows. I’m happiest when I’m out with my spaniels Cookie and Bramble and participating in hobbies that we can do together, such a Cani-cross or Barn hunt or showing.

Every wag tells a story
From a young age I have always loved animals. I grew up surrounded by horses and terriers and now have 4 horses of my own and a Staffy called Roxy who absolutely loves spending time at my yard. I have a National Diploma Level 2 in Animal Management and I started doing work experience part-time at Pips Palace Dog grooming in 2022 while I was at college and I loved it so my next plan is to work towards my Level 3 Dog Stylist Qualification.

Cancellation Policy
Please allow 24 hrs notice to cancel a grooming appointment or you may be charged full amount for the groom, which will need to be paid for before you can reschedule. (exceptions to this are at my discretion)
Payment
Payment is to be made upon collection of your dog.
- Cash
- Bank Transfer are both accepted
If paying by Bank Transfer please do this BEFORE you collect your dog so that it can be checked. If I have to continuously chase for Bank Transfer payments to be made you will be asked to do cash payments.
Pricing
All quotes given at drop-off are an estimate only and subject to change based on whether the dog needs extra work, is matted, is aggressive etc
Aggressive dogs
Please note that in accordance with the DANGEROUS DOGS ACT it is the owners responsibility to inform the groomer if the dog has bitten previously or shown signs of aggression/behavioural issues. The owner is liable to any bite or injury caused by their dogs aggressive behaviour.
Matting
It is the owners responsibility to keep your dogs coat well maintained and free from mats and ticks and fleas. I cannot be held liable for any medical costs that occur due to predisposed medical conditions or injury that comes from removing matted fur (skin irritation, sores, hot spots) Matted coats will be shaved down as that is the most humane thing to do for the animal and the least stressful way to groom the dog.
Arrival
Upon arrival please text myself on 07874 257247. Do NOT ring the house doorbell. please wait on the pavement outside the house and I shall come and meet you. Please DO NOT walk on my neighbours drive (the one closest to my side gate)
